RODEOS
Each year we have a Rodeo weekend where club members and their families fish from Friday night through Sunday and then meet for a barbecue at our property on Sunday evening. All Freeport Tuna Club members are invited to join our Rodeos, compete, and enjoy the BBQ!
2026 Rodeo
July 17, 2026 - July 19, 2026
Rain Date: July 24-26
Species: Fluke, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Tuna, and Shark. Children under 12 years old: Sea Robbins.
Prizes will be awarded to 3 lucky winners in each species! There will be trophies for kids, giveaways and more. Weigh-in slips must be at the club property by 4 p.m on Sunday. The barbeque starts at 4:00 pm and the winners will be announced at 6:00 pm.
Boats must leave and return between Debs and Fire Island inlets.You MUST be present at the Rodeo to win a prize.
C'mon down and enjoy! This is a family event, especially for the children to start the new season. Let's focus on having a good time and fishing together
