Post Sy Karp
Sy is convalescing from recent treatment of a coronary condition in Belair Care in Bellmore (2478 Jerusalem). Stop by and say hello if you have the opportunity. Or you can call him at 516-281-2916. I'm sure he would appreciate hearing from his fellow club members.

Sy will be returning home tomorrow. I stopped by to see him today. He is looking forward to getting home.

This is belated news, but Sy did not make it home from Belair. Instead he was admitted to Winthrop Hospital back before Thanksgiving. The good news is he was discharged yesterday.

At the Holiday Party I learned that Sy passed last night at home. My sympathy goes out to Eileen and to his family for their loss. I think Sy was at peace with this ending, as sad as it is.

Very sad news. Sy has been a fixture in the club for many a year. I'm sure that many of us have stories about Sy's love of designing and creating offshore fishing lures and teasers. Rest in Peace Sy.

Very sad to hear. I had the pleasure of fishing offshore with Sy a few times and he was a true gentleman - he always loved to share his knowledge and his homemade teasers/lures etc., which were awesome! Thoughts and prayers to his family.
